March 3rd, 2007 Dr. Milnar presented the lecture and
hands on course, “Advanced Concepts in Composite Art” in
Fort Worth, Texas.
On
March 3rd, 2007 Dr. Milnar presented the lecture and
hands on course, “Advanced Concepts in Composite Art” in
Fort Worth, Texas. The dentists in attendance learned how to
create natural appearing composite restorations by utilizing
creative techniques. The techniques presented in the lecture
were techniques Dr. Milnar has learned from Master Ceramists.

Creating Life-Like Composite Restorations 11/3/2006
On November 3rd Dr. Milnar was in Bellievue, Washington presenting
the seminar,” Creating Life-Like Composite Restorations
Using Artistic Principles.” The seminar was sponsored by
Ultadent Products, Inc. Dentists who attended the seminar were
from the area as well as US Army officers from Fort Lewis. The
dentists who attended this seminar learned advanced concepts
in understanding color theories and the use of tints in their
dental restorations.

American Dental Associations
Convention 10/16-19/2006
From October 16th-19th Dr. Milnar was at the American Dental Associations
Convention demonstrating using composite resins for Ultradent
Products, Inc. Dr. Milnar was provided a booth on the convention
floor where he was able to educate and demonstrate the artistic
use of Ultradents resins. Dr. Milnar had the opportunity to share
his knowledge and techniques with dental students, fellow dentists,
Periodontists and Prosthodontists from across the country.

The Russian Educator Conference 9/29/2006
On 9/29 Dr. Milnar gave a hands on seminar for Ultradent Products,
Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah. The seminar was attended by 150
dentists from Eastern Europe; Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Russia,
Czech Republic and Slovakia. They were the top dentists from
the academic and private practices in their countries.
The conference
title was “The Russian Educator Conference”. With
the assistance of an interpreter Dr. Milnar taught and demonstrated
the advanced concepts of composite resins, in order to achieve
more life-like restorations. As in the United Sates there is
a growing trend in Eastern Europe to produce better-looking dental
restorations. Dr. Milnar has been invited to speak and teach
in Eastern Europe next year.

lecture/hands-on seminar for
the MACD 9/22/2006
On 9/22 Dr. Milnar gave a lecture/hands-on seminar for the Minnesota
Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (MACD) at Hermanson Dental Laboratory.The
title of the program was "Pushing the limits with composites”,
in order to demonstrate the artistic and creative use with composite
resins.
There were 24 dentists in attendance. GC America, Inc.
was the corporate sponsor. The concept of becoming "color
confident" and the use of color tints and opaque to create
realism in restorations were taught in depth.

GC America 2005 Fall Conference
Dr. Milnar was invited to attend participate in GC America’s
Fall Conference in San Diego, CA on October 27th-30th, 2005. GC
America is the third largest dental manufacturer in the world. In
attendance were 41 academic researchers, Deans and departmental
heads of dental schools, and clinicians such as Dr. Milnar.
The future of dental products, new procedures to treat and prevent
dental decay, and new dental techniques were presented by renowned
speakers. Dr. Milnar presented to the group on his artistic and
creative usage of the newest of the GC America composites. Both
dental cases that were shown will be published in major dental journals
in early 2006.
The future of dentistry is positive and exciting. Key opinion leaders
such as the academic and lecturers such as Dr. Milnar have an advantage.
They evaluate and test products before clinicians at large have
access to them.

Yalta, ukraine May 21, 2005
On May 21st Dr. Milnar had the privilege to travel to Yalta, Ukraine and present
to dentist from the Ukraine and Russia. Two hundred dentists attended the
conference where Dr. Milnar spoke on Advanced Topics in Shade Selection and
Contemporary Composite Materials.”

AACD 2005
Dr. Milnar recently attended and spoke at the 21st annual American
Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Scientific session. This year it
was held in Nashville, TN from April 19th-23rd. Besides attending
lectures by some of the most experienced and talented dentists
throughout the world, Dr. Milnar was also asked to present a
hands on course at the session. Dr. Milnar presented the advanced
course, “Creating Natural Esthetics Utilizing a Next Generation
Composite Materials.”

On July 24th, 2004 Dr. Milnar was in Seattle, WA lecturing and
teaching a hands-on course, Creating Natural Beauty in Porcelain
and Composite Restorations. 35 dentists from the Seattle area attended
the lecture and hands-on course.

Contemporary Strategies and Technology to Restore
Teeth to Their Optimum Health and Function
On July 29th Dr. Milnar lectured and taught a hands-on
course at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. His lecture,
Contemporary Strategies and Technology to Restore Teeth to Their
Optimum Health and Function, was attended by72 dentists and expanded
duty dental assistants from the Indian Health Services of the Phoenix
Region.

American Dental Association’s annual meeting
in Orlando, FL
Dr. Milnar was invited to speak at the American Dental
Association’s annual meeting in Orlando, FL. This is the largest
international meeting in dentistry with up to 50,000 dental professionals
from all over the world attending. Dr. Milnar taught two hands-on
courses at the meeting
